Tomi Randall
Intake Clinician and Research Assistant
Tomi (She/Her) is a White woman of European settler heritage who grew up on the unceeded lands of the Wurundjeri Woirrung in Naarm. She is in her final year of her undergraduate studies in Psychology and Social science, and has recently completed a minor in Gender and Diversity Studies at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. Tomi was fortunate enough to do her student placement at Pola Practice, an experience that allowed her to develop a person-centred and holistic approach.
As a White psychology student, Tomi recognises her responsibility to resist the narrow framework of a western view of mental health and commit to anti-racist practice as a life-long journey. She hopes to work with allies and communities who experience structural discrimination towards personal and collective wellbeing. During her academic journey, Tomi has developed an interest in abolitionism, liberation psychology and transformative research methodologies.
Tomi has worked in social research, outside of school hours care and disability support work and has a passion for working with young people and children.
