Event Wellbeing  and Safeguarding

At Pola Practice, we specialise in delivering professional event wellbeing and safeguarding services for conferences, festivals, community events, and large-scale gatherings. Our experienced team partners with event organisers to design and deliver psychologically safe, inclusive, and supportive environments, with the capability to support events ranging from intimate community experiences to large-scale events of up to 5,000 attendees.

Through a culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and person-centred approach, we provide proactive wellbeing support, safeguarding oversight, and critical incident response before, during, and after events. We work alongside organisers, staff, and stakeholders to identify and manage risks, support vulnerable individuals, and foster a culture of care, safety, and respect for all participants, volunteers, staff, and visitors.

What is Event Wellbeing Support?

Event wellbeing support is the provision of dedicated mental health and wellbeing services before, during, and after an event. Our culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and person-centred approach ensures attendees have access to emotional support, practical resources, and therapeutic interventions that promote psychological safety and wellbeing.

Psychological safety means creating environments where people feel respected, included, and supported to participate fully, seek help when needed, and express themselves without fear of judgement, discrimination, or harm.

What is Safeguarding?

Safeguarding is the protection of the safety, rights, and wellbeing of all participants, particularly children, young people, and vulnerable community members. It involves proactive measures to prevent harm, identify and manage risks, and respond appropriately to concerns, ensuring everyone can participate in events safely and with dignity.
