Community Directory

There are many barriers in engaging with mental health support for those with marginalised identities. These can range from stigmas regarding mental health, eligibility issues with Medicare, financial hardship and lack of culturally responsive practitioners. There is an observed increase in the desire to engage with therapists who could support those from marginalised communities. This increase in demand was seen by increased waitlists at Pola Practice and triggered the creation of a “Therapist Directory” of culturally responsive therapists, many of whom are Therapists of Colour.

This is a pro bono community led project that increases the visibility and accessibility of likeminded service providers.

We do not receive any payment or commission from your use of this directory service.
