Negin (she/her) is a psychologist and art therapist of Persian heritage, with over 10 years of clinical experience. She has worked in various public and private health settings including community health, inpatient programs, and relationship support services such as Relationships Australia and SHIPS.

Negin is passionate about exploring how traumatic experiences, attachment patterns, and cultural identity influence mental health, sense of well-being, and life decisions. She believes our areas of concern are largely influenced by an individual’s inner system as well as external ones such as political, social, and environmental structures.

She is interested in the mind-body-spirit connection and integrating cognitive, emotional, somatic, and creative techniques to facilitate healing and growth. Her practice is sex-positive and GSRD-aware. It embraces differences brought by cultural diversity, age, ability, and religion. She cares greatly about promoting social justice and equal rights for minorities.

Negin has experience working with trauma-related concerns, disordered eating, grief & loss, relationship and parenting concerns, pre & postnatal concerns, cross-cultural & adjustment challenges, and creative blocks. She also has a strong interest and experience in facilitating art therapy groups in the community.
