Yasmeen is an Eritrean woman, born and raised in Naarm. Passionate about helping people lead more fulfilling lives, she is dedicated to improving mental health awareness and access to counselling within marginalised communities. With a background in supporting culturally and linguistically diverse communities in healthcare access, she is committed to providing inclusive and culturally responsive mental health care.

Currently pursuing a Master of Counselling at Victoria University, Yasmeen has developed expertise in counselling theory, therapeutic interventions, and psychological support. Her practice is grounded in person-centered approaches, empowering clients while honouring their lived experiences and cultural identities. She strives to deliver counselling with care and empathy, creating a safe space for clients to explore their experiences. Her ability to form genuine human connections allows her to approach each client with warmth, understanding, and respect for their unique journey.
