Samerawit Molla, an Ethiopian woman, has forged her academic path with a Bachelor of Arts at Monash University, majoring in sociology and minoring in politics. Through rigorous coursework encompassing Social Research Methods, Gender and Family Violence, and Cultural Diversity and Identity, she honed her research skills and cultivated a deep understanding of societal dynamics. Currently pursuing a Masters of Public Policy at Monash University, Samerawit's passion for research drives her quest to uncover insights that address societal gaps and inequalities.

With a keen eye toward inclusivity, Samerawit is particularly drawn to research that amplifies the voices of marginalised communities, especially People of Colour, whose experiences are often sidelined in mainstream discourse. Her commitment to understanding and advocating for these communities underscores her dedication to social justice and equity. Samerawit envisions a future where research not only provides explanations for human experiences but also serves as a catalyst for positive societal change. Through her academic pursuits and research endeavours, she aspires to contribute meaningfully to policy initiatives that promote inclusivity and empower marginalised voices.
