Placement Student - Master of Psychology (Clinical Psychology)
Nikoletta (she/her) is a Greek Australian woman who was born on Wurundjeri land. She is a motivated provisional psychologist who utilises an empathetic and client-centred approach.
Nikoletta believes in the importance of fostering therapeutic environments where clients can bring their whole selves and feel safe, seen, and valued. Nikoletta’s own experiences accessing mental health services led her to recognise the transformative impact that a safe, therapeutic environment can have in a time of need. She is dedicated to providing this space for her clients.
Nikoletta is also passionate about advocating for the rights of marginalised communities both inside and outside of the therapy room. She is deeply involved in community advocacy, particularly related to the rights of LGBTQ+ people, the safety of children and adolescents, and supporting individuals impacted by trauma and early life adversity.
She is currently studying a Master of Psychology (Clinical Psychology) at Swinburne University of Technology.
